About

Part of the amazing Swedish microhouse Mitek label collective, has also released on the Onitor label, Source Records, Thinner, Klitekture, Defrag Sound Processing, and is part of the group Stavöstrand & Skugge, with Mikael Stavöstrand. Has been working with music for 15 years (as of 2006), and been active in the field of electronic music, since the year 2000.

With a previous album release of Objects and Buildings on Source Records, he made a name for himself on the Swedish minimal techno scene, associated with international renowned Swedish artists, such as Andreas Tilliander (also known as Minimalistic Sweden, Mokira, TM404), and Mikael Stavöstrand.

Was also a member, of well known Swedish rock bands Yvonne, Rockmonster, and Harlem, before focusing on his solo electronic music works, in the areas of microhouse, clicks & cuts, and glitch, to great success and interest.

Skugge’s music is a mix of the 3 elements: dub, drone and groove. His goal is to make contemporary city music, with the spirit of Jamaican dancehalls and funk.

Has performed live all over the world, from Italy, Turkey, Sweden, Germany, Spain, France, Canada, to Greece.
