Swiss born electronic musician Radovan Scasascia, who lives and works in London and Zürich, who trained as an architect at the ETH (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich) in Zürich. He now concentrates fully on electronic music, that he has been making music since 1993.

He founded Dreck Records, with his long-time collaborator Laurent Benner, in 2000, and has been releasing music under the names Secondo and AM/PM. Departing from existing popular songs of various origins, Secondo cuts his source material carefully, into minute fragments, in order to compose entirely new pieces of music, somehow maintaining the atmosphere of the original, but shifting away from it structurally and rhythmically. Though an occasional techno or shuffle pulse surfaces, calling it ‘dance’ music is almost grotesque. Breathes new life into the material by never letting it merely repeat but instead subtly modulating, adding a layer here, a new sound there. Moods shift from ponderous to meditative.

Techno? Microhouse? Electronica? Conventional classifications fall short at conveying AM/PM’s (Secondo’s) exquisite, robust and solid sound.
