About
Robin Judge is a Canadian electronic musician, working across a variety of genres and focusing on the subtle relationships between rhythm and texture. Released a solo full-length album, Pattern CD, on Noise Factory Records in 2004. Robin contributed a track for the critically-acclaimed Clicks & Cuts 3 (3 × 12″/2 × CD) compilation on Mille Plateaux, in 2002. Has appeared at various prestigious festivals, such as Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF), Mutek festival, and performed as an opening act for Monolake, Akufen, Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin and other renowned musicians.
Judge also recorded 2 albums and EPs in the collaborative duo Jirku/Judge (with Tomas Jirku), who are a Canadian minimal techno, glitch, clicks & cuts electronic duo, active in the early to mid-2000s, based in Toronto. They have Basic Channel and Chain Reaction DNA, running through their laptops.
