About

The musician formerly known as Wildjamin, started his career by producing ambient, in the early 1990s. In 1996, his focus turned to house and minimal dance music, inspired by the vivid Frankfurt underground scene. When he moved to Hamburg in 1999, he released a series of minimalistic records, on labels like Perlon, Kompakt, Force Tracks and Festplatten.

A unique and solid musician, his music is robust, solid and stimulating, even 20 years later. It is not complicated or over-engineered, just well-built, constructed and ready to be enjoyed. Around 2003, he used to DJ in Hamburg, and around Germany.

Was commissioned and has released, on heavyweight record labels, like Kompakt and Force Inc. Music Works, that were and still are, utopian record labels, by pioneering visionary genius figures, like Achim Szepanski and Wolfgang Voigt.

Benjamin is still making a wide-variety of music in 2023, from house, techno, acid, electro, ambient, minimal, to hip-hop, and has an extensive knowledge of analog audio hardware (both old and new).

It was an amazing time between 1999–2003, the mainstream start of the internet was also an impacting factor, and Benjamin was 1 of many heavyweight quality musicians, to start making music in that utopian and intellectually stimulating era. Enjoy 1 of Germany’s finest musicians!
